Are you passionate about creating visually stunning designs that leave a lasting impression? As a Graphic Illustrator for the Ascentis group of companies, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our strong visual and creative presence across various mediums, from printed materials to the web and social media. Join us and unleash your creativity to produce on-brand illustrations, graphics, and collateral that elevate our brand identity and captivate our audience.
About the role:
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the International Dyslexia Learning Solutions (IDL) product development teams, ensuring an understanding of design requirements, objectives, and timelines while aligning with our brand identity. Your responsibilities extend to managing a backlog of design projects, and prioritising tasks based on business needs and project deadlines.
Moreover, you'll contribute to the development and maintenance of brand management strategies and guides for IDL, ensuring consistency across all visual materials. Your creative input will define appropriate visual styles for illustrations, graphics, and collateral. Presenting initial drawings and storyboards to stakeholders for feedback and approval will be key to ensuring alignment with project goals. Leveraging graphic design software, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator, you'll craft high-quality illustrations and graphics.
Furthermore, you'll develop motion graphics and animations to enhance visual storytelling across digital platforms. Staying updated on design trends and advancements, you'll continuously improve your skills to maintain relevance in the field. Collaboration with internal departments will foster teamwork, enabling the achievement of common goals. You'll conduct research and gather visual references to inform design concepts, ensuring innovation and relevance. Finally, participating in creative discussions will allow you to contribute new ideas for visual communication and branding initiatives, drawing on your strong understanding of typography, layout, and composition principles to create visually engaging designs.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a highly creative individual with a passion for graphic design and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and collaboration skills, allowing for seamless interaction with cross-functional teams. A strong understanding of design principles and trends, coupled with proficiency in graphic design software, will be essential. We value adaptability and a proactive approach to learning, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in image editing and digital drawing software, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, and Figma.
If you're ready to bring your creativity to the forefront and make a meaningful impact with your designs, then we want to hear from you!
